Francois Charles is a 2015 reformulation of the original fragrance of the same name, first launched in 2007 by French perfumer Rance. Top notes produce a sharp, bittersweet accord by blending spices of ginger, cardamom, pink pepper, and cinnamon with citruses and other fruits including bitter orange, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, bergamot, pineapple, and melon. Middle notes are floral and herbaceous, consisting of orange blossom, lavender, and clary sage, along with the classic combination of rose and jasmine.
