Five Eau de Parfum

As the first of his perfumes to be featured in a gallery alongside his paintings, Bruno Fazzolari paired Five with?vivid and lively paintings in primary colors... lit by strong fluorescent lights.?? One sniff of this brisk, crisply assertive citrus/herbal/woods fragrance and the association becomes clear. Five is almost a traditional cologne- bright, fresh, and vibrantly spiced- but like the otherworldly fluorescents casting their own character on a painting, there's something in the balance of the fragrance, and in the lightly mineralic touches, that forces one to see the whole thing slightly askew. Aromatic rosemary mingles with a heavy dose of petitgrain and a 'high altitude' accord to give a robustly ozonic characteristic, as if pure oxygen was pumping from Five's otherwise traditionally composed heart. Like the gallery lights set up to deliberately alter your perception of the painting, Five is the traditional cologne born anew.
